An amazing performance by Mark Perkins – 667m short of Cavin Woodwards British record set in 1947. The DUV lists only Yiannis Kouros and Zach Bitter has having further distances so this was definitely one of the greatest performances the world has seen at the 12 hour level.

There are only a couple of places left in the 12 hour race but plenty left for 6 hours.

Just a reminder if anyone wants to just run a Marathon all you have to do is 27 miles and you will get a result for an ultra which will be acceptable towards you number for joining the 100 Marathon Club.

It will really help if you are able to bring a lap recorder.
