Happy New Year

Thank you to everyone that has entered the 24 hour race for 2025.

There are 60 confirmed entries including some of the best ultra distance runners in the U.K.

If anyone that isn’t running would like to come and ‘crew’ for a runner I am sure there will be someone that has come alone and would like some help… It makes a difference to the runners total distance if they have help with preparing  sports drinks, getting hot drinks and food for them. Especially through the night time…

24 hour U.K. Championships

We are honoured to have been chosen to host the 2025 U.K. Championships.

As a result we have decided to drop the 6 and 12 hour races to enable us to accommodate more 24 hour runners.

From past experience the 24 hour race is usually full by Christmas so, if you are keen to take part, don’t delay in entering.

The race is open to novice as well as experienced runners/walkers.

The price will remain the same until entries close.

2021 race date changed

Time to make a decision so I have. After a lot of thought, prayers and a discussion with the K2 Leisure Centre Manager, we have decided that 17th of April is too soon after lockdown. So, the race will now take place on Saturday 3rd/Sunday 4th of July. I apologise to anyone who for whatever reason may not be able to take part on that date but the only alternative (to avoid clashing with other big events) was to postpone to April 2022. I really wanted a race this year so there we are, that is what is happening. I will be e mailing all entrants during the coming week. In the meantime I can advise you the options are to take part, withdraw or defer to April 2022. Thank you for your patience in waiting for this announcement. I am sorry I cannot offer refunds as the charity are really in need of a donation to help our needy kids in Uganda.
